We created a high-intensity social film for Two Tenets Club, capturing their runners at the Battersea Half Marathon. The video was designed to reflect the brand’s core philosophy of simplicity and consistency.
Filmed handheld on the Sony A7S III using both a Sony 28–70mm GM II and 70–200mm GM II, we embedded ourselves within the race to capture runners in motion amongst the wider crowd.
The longer lens allowed us to isolate athletes from a distance, compressing the scene to create a more intense, focused feel, while the wider range captured immersive, in-the-moment perspectives.
Working in overcast conditions, we leaned into the natural, muted light to create a raw and grounded visual tone—focusing on real moments of effort, fatigue, and determination throughout the race.
Edited and colour graded in DaVinci Resolve, the film was shaped to feel intense and immersive.
The pacing builds through rhythm and repetition—mirroring the mindset of running—before resolving into a more uplifting finish that reflects achievement and completion. Subtle contrast and tonal control were used to enhance the dramatic feel while maintaining a natural look.
A powerful, story-driven reel that captures the physical and mental challenge of race day, while reinforcing Two Tenets Club’s message of discipline, consistency, and long-term progression.
